On April 29th, tens of thousands of people gathered on the grounds of the Washington Monument, and other major cities around the world, to celebrate science and the role it plays in everyday life. Scientists and science enthusiasts spoke on particular issues of science policy ranging from scientific research funding to climate change literacy.
As carbon dioxide levels continue to increase and the global temperature continues to rise, scientists and ecologically conscious businesses continue to encourage energy efficient practices globally. Sustainable building solutions are no longer an option, but a necessity for our planet. At Schneider Electric Buildings Critical Systems, Inc. (SEBCSI), we’re focused on making your building as efficient as possible for the purpose of improving your business practices and promoting energy efficiency throughout the world. Let’s explore.
Meet Critical Systems
Schneider Electric Buildings Critical Systems, Inc. is an extension of our parent company, the globally recognized Schneider Electric. We are an experienced team specialized in building management systems and electronic security systems. In addition to the commercial market, our team has experience providing building automation, security, and integration services to US Government buildings locally and around the world.
Schneider Electric offers a variety of facility management solutions in order to improve your building’s efficiency including SmartStruxure, which enables you to monitor, control, and optimize your building’s performance throughout its lifecycle.
The SmartStruxure product line, also featuring SmartStruxure Lite, natively supports BACnet, LON, Modbus, web services, and the EcoStruxure Web Server. Facility managers can take advantage of the different applications offered through hot-swappable I/O modules. The TCP/IP level controller is effective for simple applications as well as large enterprise type solutions.
SmartStruxure Lite uses Enocean and Zigbee Wireless capabilities for wireless sensor and networking communication options. Systems can be installed without control wiring, making SmartStruxure Lite perfect for retrofit applications. Supported wired communication protocols include Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet MSTP, Modbus MSTP, and CAN bus. The solution can be managed through a web browser or as part of an enterprise solution.
